It’ll be five years ago on Monday since I did this BMW X3.
Not much to say, washed, interior done, paint corrected by hand polishing (about seven hours alone), sealed, interior dressed and car collected. 15 hours total over two days.
What eight years of neglect looks like
Faded plastics
Drive through car wash damage to the paint
First wash of several (degrease, snow foam, wash, de-tar, fallout, wash)
After/before of hand polishing
After a complete wash and hand polish before sealing and dressing
After sealing and dressing
Dressed plastics
Rear widow still hazing from curing glass sealant

Yowzers! That’s a lot of paint correction. I wonder how it looks today. Hope you taught the owner a little bit about scratch prevention.

Unfortunately the owner was a good mate and has no concept of even keeping a car clean.
They had a red VW Bora that they used for forestry work. The thing stank of sweat and oil with empty 2 litre Coca Cola bottles all over the place.
I thought it may spur him on a little when he picked up this car.
